Paco Barrientos is a well-esteemed and highly respected business leader most notably recognized for his creative innovation and expertise in the South Texas region with over three decades of experience across the state of Texas.

As a creative entrepreneur, Barrientos has seen it all. He has dedicated his career to deeply impacting communities and businesses and ridding the world of poor design through conceptual and strategic composition, innovative thought, and culture, and has developed and influenced campaigns across the state.

Paco Barrientos is co-CEO of PMDG Marketing Communications, a full-service advertising agency and co-owner of AlphaGraphics Laredo, a full-service print center.

Barrientos attended the Art Institute of Houston in 1990 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication from Texas State University in San Marcos (Go Bobcats!) in 1996. He launched his career in marketing and advertising with the Tandy Corporation/Radio Shack National Division in Ft. Worth.

His passion and determination to contribute to the expanding world of commercial design in South Texas led him back to his roots in Laredo where he served as Publication Coordinator at Texas A&M International University. In 2008 he Co-Founded PMDG Marketing Communications where he serves as Agency Executive Creative Director. His creative strides have earned him recognitions including the esteemed National Bronze Asters Medical Award for Medical Marketing.

Barrientos has also earned a myriad of Gold and Silver American Advertising Awards (Addys) from the American Advertising Federation for his continued distinguished work and creative excellence. One of his most notable Addy recognitions is the Gold Addy for the “Addys Online” campaign in Advertising Industry Self-Promotion. Various other campaigns created by Barrientos for Triumph Public High Schools have been awarded multiple Addys for their distinction in Public Service and Integrated Media Public Service Campaign.

Additionally, Barrientos is active in the Laredo community. He previously served as the President for Laredo Main Street, an organization dedicated to the vitality and growth of downtown Laredo. He is also a member of the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, serves as Vice President of the Board for St. Augustine High School, and is a member of the American Advertising Federation.
